Our approach to creating enduring and rapid culture change includes the following four steps of the influence process:
- Clarify measurable results,
- Identify problem behaviors and find vital behaviors,
- Conduct a six source diagnosis to determine root causes of problem behaviors, and
- Develop a six source influence strategy to enact the new vital behaviors.
Below is a visual representation of the influence process we employ:
We guide problem owners and their teams through the influence process through a series of workshop interventions over a 3-4 month period to design and implement robust change efforts. We guide the team as it conducts an Organizational MRI, a complete scan of the organization behaviors that get in the way of current results. This includes fieldwork completed by team members and an online story collector to provide a comprehensive picture of both challenges and opportunities. Then we follow the influencer process, one step at a time, with work to complete the step between events.
Our final outcome is a robust influence strategy that includes the results, behaviors and strategies required to attain those results.
